Our head chef, Greg Etheridge, locally trained at Bournemouth and Poole College is a graduate of the Academie Culinaire de France, and has won Best Seafood Restaurant of the year, nationally, 2005/2006. Greg has a wealth of experience, having spent 3 years working at the famous Langan's Brasserie, London, and he has also had 2 AA rosettes for the past 10 years. Greg has also won last years 'Dorset chef of the year award 2014'and our restaurant has been nominated as a finalist for this years' Dorset Best Restaurant'
Greg's vision at Number 9 is to consistently create traditional food with a modern twist, with ingredients, where possible, sourced locally, to create wholesome, flavour full, high quality dishes, that are beautifully presented. Greg is also more than happy to tailor make dishes for our customers, so if you have any allergies or food intolerances, please do just let us know!
